[Once he's inside, Rhys faces away from Enis and begins quickly unbuttoning his shirt and shrugging it off.]

There's not a lot to tell, really. I've got ink? I've got a robotic arm? You know that already. [He really wouldn't mind showing her more, though. If she turns to look at him, she'll get an eyeful of his bare ass as he shoves his slacks off. He's kind of regretting the decision to forego underwear right now.]

You're welcome to come hang out, as long as I'm here.

[She doesn't actually expect him to undress but she can't bring herself to look away from him. Bright vibrant blue eyes inspect his form and the shape of his tattoos. She feels the sudden desire to trace the ink with her finger.]

I have ink too.

Do you want to see?

[Her eyes drop to his ass and she's a little curious to see if he will turn around. If he doesn't, he'll find that she's standing closer than before though there is still a little over a foot of space between them.]

[He glances over his shoulder, blushing deeply and hastily pulling on the sweatpants he'd grabbed. Once they're on, he stands up straight and turns to face her.]

Uh, I mean, if you wanna show me. A-and you've seen all of mine now, so it's only fair.

[When had she stepped closer? And was she checking him out? She's definitely checking him out.]

[Of course she stole a glance at Rhys, he was handsome and Enis isn't dead. She'd felt attracted to him since she met him but physical attraction didn't always amount to very much in her mind. Trust... that's harder.

She takes a step forward and gently lifts her hair back, showing a tattooed mark behind her ear. It's a serial number: 6201328A.

It probably isn't what he's expecting but he's the first person she's ever shown it too. Enis would rather stand before him naked than show him the mark but this... felt right somehow.]

What do you think?

[She asks in a whisper, standing less than a foot away so he could see the smaller tattoo.]

[Squinting a bit, Rhys leans in to get a better look at the tattoo.]

Did...your dad do this? It's pretty cool, either way, like, you could always trick people into thinking you are an android.

[Even if it was something her dad did, he liked it. It was interesting. He reaches up to gently trace a finger over the ink.]

Does it mean something?

He did. It signifies the day and time of the first test and the expectancy. A was his first test set. [She'd been the only one who lived through it and she'd been five at the time.

A shiver makes it way down her neck and spine as his fingers brushed at the sensitive skin behind her ear.] I don't think anyone would believe I was an android. Maybe here.

[Enis's heart begins to beat a little faster as she looks up at Rhys. Their faces were so close and she wonders why she hesitates. She'd never hesitated before. Why Rhys? What is it about him?]

I see...So, you've had that for a long time, huh? [He's rather horrified that someone would tattoo a five-year-old, but that's not the worst of Enis's father's sins.

And that shiver pulls his mind back to the present.]

Y'know, we don't have to go to the park. I-if you don't wanna. We could stay in. Totally up to you.

Oh?

[Her lips part but it takes her another moment of silence for her to speak.] You want to stay in? We can. I- [A nervous sensation fluttered in her chest.]

What should we do?

[Enis knows that their standing close, she can feel the heat of his skin and breath hovering nearby.]

[Rhys knows exactly what he wants to do. He wants to kiss her again.]

We could...watch a movie? Or play a game? Whatever you want, really. I can grab a shirt and we can head back out like we originally planned, too.

[Why is he being such a coward about this? He only needs to lean in a few inches and their lips would be pressed together.]

[She watches his mouth move but he doesn't say what she's expecting. He'd kissed her once before and all this flirting... maybe he isn't interested? Enis isn't sure but she feels almost disappointed.]

You don't have to put a shirt on.

[That isn't what she meant to say.]

We can do any of that, what do you have here?

[So she does like what she sees. Awesome.]

I've got a few movies saved from back home. I could probably get one to play on the screen set in the wall, and we could pop some popcorn. I'll even turn the lights off if you wanna pretend we're just a couple of awkward teenagers hiding in the back of a movie theater~

[Screw it. He leans in and places a quick peck to the tip of her nose.]

[He kisses the tip of her nose and in reply, Enis blinks.

Is that a thing people do?

Apparently, the answer to that is yes.]

Oh.

I don't think I've ever been an awkward teenager in a movie theater before so maybe you can walk me through it.

[She slides her hand in his and gently laces their fingers together.]

Like this maybe?

Yeah, like this.

[He smiles, squeezing her hand gently as he tugs her towards the kitchen. While they walk, he activates his EchoEye and starts looking through his movie collection.]

What do you like? Action? Horror? Rom-Coms?

[She follows behind him, feeling unsteady and uncertain.]

I don't know. You've seen all the movies I've ever seen.

[Which is the one movie that they had barely watched at the park.]

Ahh, right. We'll go with an action one, then.

[While he sets the video connection up, he lets go of Enis's hand to get the popcorn bag open and in the little microwave.]

I think you'll like this one. It's based on a game called Bunkers and Badasses. Wizards, druids, dragons...It's really good.

[Enis hoovers nearby as Rhys sets up the movie and gets the popcorn. This wasn't exactly how she'd thought any of this would go but it was nice. She'd get to hang out with Rhys with his shirt off, though she was having trouble keeping her eyes off him.]

Sounds like fun.

Is there anything I should be doing?

[That isn't just standing though she makes a fairly pretty statue.]

I dunno. The popcorn is almost done, so if you want, you can go get comfortable on the couch.

[He takes the popcorn out when it's finished and dumps it into a large bowl. He then follows Enis to the couch, setting the bowl on the small coffee table.]

[Enis walks over to the couch and begins to take off her boots and socks. She doesn't think that Rhys cares if she keeps her shoes on but if they're staying here she's going to make herself comfortable.

She shrugs off her dark leather jacket showing off the tank top she wore beneath. Enis doesn't have a lot of clothes and what she does have is worn and now stained by oil and other things from work...] Is this something you do a lot?

[She takes a seat on the couch and curls her legs up so that she's comfortably settled on the cushions. Enis has a very unique way of sitting on couches though she doesn't realize it. She treats a couch like a bed, having had a bed that she used as a couch for a great deal of her life.]

I like popcorn but only if it's as bad for me as possible. [Lots of butter and salt.] I'm not sure why that is.

[It's one of those things that Enis hasn't put a lot of thought into but she's realized her tastes lend themselves towards anything that's savory and not good for her.]

[Rhys sits so that he can slip his flesh arm over the back of the couch around Enis, a bold move in his eyes. Of course, he's got the butteriest popcorn available, and he's added the perfect amount of salt.]

Do you mean watch movies in general, or cuddle up with a cutie to watch them~? [He winks at her.] Because the last time I did the latter, I was still living on a space station. Well, longer than that, really. It's been a couple of years.

[Effortlessly, he starts the movie, lighting up the tv screen with a soaring shot of a desert scene.]

[Enis slides up next to his side under the pretense of being near the popcorn.

Sitting next to him is warm in a pleasant way that she's still getting used to. Being near him like this, cuddling up and watching a movie, sans shirt... It feels nice.]

But you like it? [She asks with a little teasing smile.] Watching movies with a cute girl?

We'll have to do this more. Assuming our boss gives us time off.

It's one of my favorite pastimes~ I'm sure you'd be able to sweet-talk the boss into giving us a little more free time.

[He slips his arm lower, so that it's resting around her shoulders. She seems so fragile cuddled next to him, but he knows better, and unless he really wants things to get awkward, he's gonna have to get his mind back on the movie.]

You've really never done this before? Just cuddled up with someone and taken in a movie?

[Enis snorts through her nose in an attempt to hold back a short clipped laugh. It's not a very cute noise despite coming from such a tiny cute nose.] We'll have to ask him.

[She glances over at Rhys and then back to the movie. She's never snuggled on the couch with someone. She's watched only one movie all the way through and Rhys had been there for that too. There is a lot that she's never done.]

No.

[She doesn't look over at him.]

I lived in a room and my father isn't the snuggling sort. No one else was allowed in. I had to study, rest and keep myself physically healthy.

Right...But now you're free to do whatever you like~

[Which he hopes will be a lot more of this. Something more, even. It's been a while since he's had a real relationship.]

Y'know, this place is pretty low-stakes, as dating goes. If it doesn't go well, it's likely we'll both forget once we get back home.

[And on the other hand, if it does go well, and one of them gets sent home, the other will be left with a large loss.]

[Enis tenses and feels suddenly awkward. She isn't good at this kind of stuff and isn't sure what to say or what it even means. The internet isn't clear about personal relationships...]

I- haven't ever dated before.

[She keeps watching the movie, that nervous uncertainty twisting in her stomach.]

I don't know what stakes are involved or what is really involved in dating.

R-right...Well, dating is kinda like being friends? Except more intimate. Sometimes, you go out on fun dates, like to a fancy restaurant or an amusement park. Other times, you stay in and watch movies...like we're doing right now~ You share more and more about yourself with the person you're dating, and after a little time, they're the person you end up trusting the most.

[Of course, thinking about this makes him think about Vaughn. Not that they'd been physically intimate, of course. But his friendship with Vaughn was something he referenced to gauge his dating life.]

Not that it'll replace other relationships you have. Like, I've got a best bro back home. I've known him since elementary school. We grew up together. But we're just friends, like, I wouldn't wanna marry him or something.

[Not that he's thinking of marrying Enis...maybe one day, in another universe...]

The stakes are...well, ruining a good friendship by making it physical. [He sighs.] I really like working with you, and I like hanging out, but I also maybe kinda really wanna kiss you. I don't want things to get awkward, though...
